I m Sick and tired

I m sick and tired .. more than anything else, by the office politics, by the unprofessional attitude of the people at the work place.I mean com'mon , we are here to work as a team.Why pull others down to show your importance.And it is all the more paining to see the seniors who you look upto as inspiration indulging in all such kinds of stuff and infact promoting it.I am facing this for last few months now and it is getting over my nerves now.I remember the time when i joined Syntel as a fresher and got into my first project.I didnt even knew what office politics is.It was only after i shifted into a new project, did i get a feel of it.But now i think, even that was hundred times better a situation than what it is today for me.Everyday I come to office without any motivation to work,I just dont feel like working in such conditions.I thought I had given my best to the project,untill one day this silly idea came to my mind, and like a daring kid, I went to my manager to ask for leave,coz I was planning to give CAT.I dont know how it mattered, but now i know, some people here got a point against me, to prove that a lack motivation to work in office.I just want to ask to few things to them:

- Why do i have to just sit in office without any work and 'pretend' to work, when infact i dont have enough work even to pretend..
- Why can only sitting late in office prove that you take ownership in project.
- What is wrong if I finish my work before anyone else and think that of utilising my time in some other constructive work rather than just sitting and staring at my PC without any work like an idiot.
- What is wrong in protesting against coming to office in weekends if there is not enough work for me to do on weekdays also.
I guess no one here can answer these questions.,,No one.
I wish I could make this place a better place to work..atleast for myself.

I am excited.Just got my own blog.I hope to make this a rocking space. Just trying to get a feel of it. :)
